2023 Minneapolis Sister Cities Day

Minneapolis will be celebrating all 12 of its Sister Cities with free ice-cream, music, multi-cultural entertainment and children’s activities at the Nicollet Island Pavilion, Sunday, July 21st from 1-5 p.m.
The entertainment will include a special program celebrating the 10th anniversary of our relationship with Najaf, Iraq. Sister Cities Day highlights all of Minneapolis’ International Sister Cities, with a special spotlight this year on the 50th anniversaries of our sister cities of Winnipeg, Canada and Kuopio, Finland.
