Cokato Finnish American Historical Society Spring Memorial Program

CFAHS Memorial program honors a local veteran Robert Lasanen a Navy VietNam veteran at the noon program along with guest speaker Katie Raisanen Bonawitz-speaking on her experience with the Finnish education program as she explored Finnish education from Helsinki to the Arctic Circle. She also was a Fulbright teaching recipient with trips to Ukraine and Lithuania. Katie graduated from Dassel Cokato high school in 1990.
